Vimal Ohrie lives in Tomswood Road in Chigwell and is supporting a petition asking councillors to turn back on street lights and prevent vandalism.
She has concerns over the well being of elderly people in Chigwell due to unlit roads and is concerned that the darkness is adding to local crime figures.
