A photographic exhibition celebrating the life of Archbishop Desmond Tutu will open in a church tomorrow.
The pictures by Sumaya Hisham, a photographer based in Cape Town, capture moments from Archbishop Tutu's daily life and offer a glimpse into his world.
Revd Neil-Allan Walsh, Priest-in-Charge of Leytonstone St Margaret's with St Columba, said: "It will be the first time this exhibition will be on display outside South Africa.
“We look forward to giving visitors a warm welcome."
The exhibition can be viewed at the church in Woodhouse Road from 10am until 2pm on weekdays and until 4pm on Saturdays.
It is being brought to the borough as a part of black history month.
