Police in Waltham Forest have released an image of a fraudster.

Suspect 156884 is wanted in connection with fraud following an attempt to open a bank account with Nationwide. 

He visited the branch in Chingford Mount Road, Chingford, on July 11 at around 3.30pm where he tried to open a bank account using a passport as proof of identification.

The passport was in fact fake and when the cashier left her desk to run checks on it, he walks out. 

The image has been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.
