Pupils rise to the challenge for Holy festival
Primary school pupils took part in a bake-off.
The competition was organised as part of the annual harvest festival at Chingford CofE Primary School, with both infants from the site in King's Road, and juniors from the school in Cambridge Road, took part yesterday.
The loaf's, buns, bagels and tray bakes were made at home and then displayed and judged in the classroom.
Pupils and staff also filled a room with food and drink brought from their homes, which is to be donated to homeless charity, Christian Kitchen, based in Mission Grove, Walthamstow.
