A CCTV image has been released by police of a fuel thief.
Suspect 159924 is wanted in connection with theft of petrol and driving off without making payment at BP Express in High Road, Leyton, on July 1.
The driver of the blue Ford van pulled into the 24-hour garage at around 12.30am. He fills up the vehicle with £105.31 worth of fuel and drives off without paying.
Police say they have been unable to trace the driver as the van did not have any number plates.
The CCTV image has been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.
