School opens bank in attempt to help students understand financial world
Schoolgirls have opened their own bank.
Financial education has just become part of the National Curriculum and the intiative aims to teach about saving and investment.
Charity MyBnk is is training a dozen students and teaching mentors to run the bank at Walthamstow School for Girls.
It will offer students accounts and interest free loans of up to £40.
