Letter to the editor:
As the parliamentary candidate for UKIP for Leyton and Wanstead constituency, I would like to put forward my views.
For years we have seen all political parties pledge – and throw – money at the NHS.
What they have not done is to monitor whether the money has been spent wisely.
For each of the last four general elections, I have focused on value for money audits and this I am pledging to continue into the May 2015 general election.
Meeting people over the past weekend while out and about came the same message: “what about the wastage?”
As your MP, I will tackle this. Doubtless the other parties will climb on this bandwagon but you have heard it here first.
Martin Levin, parliamentary candidate for UKIP in Leyton and Wanstead
