A sheltered housing scheme celebrated two decades of care today.
Staff at Honey Tree Court in Fairmeads, Loughton, which officially opened in 1994, held a party for 30 residents this morning to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
Staff and residents at the court, which is run by local housing provider Places for People, enjoyed an array of entertainment through performers, music and cakes.
Regional Operational Manager at Places for People Jean Curd said: “We wanted to share this anniversary with all the staff and customers and to thank them for all the hard work that has gone into keeping Honey Tree Court running over the last two decades.”
Party Organiser Toyah Bicker said: "It was a fantastic morning, everyone really enjoyed themselves.
"It was nice to celebrate together, the residents had a great time."
