A 20-year-old man has been found guilty of carrying a lock knife.
Mohammed Zamal was arrested in Cann Hall Road, Leytonstone, on July 30.
During his arrest, unemployed Mr Zamal of Cobden Road, Leytonstone, admitted to carrying the blade.
After a pre-sentence report and a guilty plea magistrate decided not to impose a custodial sentence.
He was made the subject of a 12-month supervision order and ordered to carry out 100 hours of community service.
A fine of £145 was also imposed.
