The trial of a woman accused of stealing almost £60,000 from her mother has been postponed.
Gina Matthews, 41, of Barfields Path in Loughton, was set to face trial at Chelmsford Crown Court charged with fraud and theft, this morning.
Ms Matthews allegedly cashed cheques totalling nearly £60,000 between 2009 and 2013.
She is also charged with stealing a sealed mail bag and a debit card belonging to her mother, Pauline Chalkley, who also lives in Loughton.
The 41-year-old's trial is set to be refixed at a later date that is yet to be determined.
