Two men have been charged after police seized cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £1.5million.
Police raided an industrial unit at Meridian Business Park in Fleming Road, Waltham Abbey, shortly after midday yesterday.
Around 1,765 mature plants, 2,000 seedlings and an extensive range of hydroponic equipment were discovered across two floors.
Romario Lila, 20, and Shkelzen Kojku, 25, both of no fixed address, were charged with producing cannabis.
Both were detained in police custody to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday, October 22.
