A man was taken to hospital after being assaulted yesterday afternoon.
Police and paramedics attended the scene in Vere Road in Debden Broadway at around 3.45pm following a report of a "large disturbance".
The National Police Air Service initially announced on Twitter that they were called following reports of a man found stabbed, however this was later confirmed as untrue.

East of England Ambulance Service confirmed that they were called to the scene to treat the man for injuries sustained during the attack before he was taken to hospital.
The incident was widely reported on Twitter by concerned residents.
