An anarchist former playboy model has vowed to disrupt a Chingford jobs fair organised by MP Iain Duncan Smith.

Marina Pepper, who is to stand against the Chingford & Woodford Green MP in next year’s general election for Class War, plans to confront the work and pensions secretary during'The Reckoning' on the government’s welfare reforms, low pay and 'zero-hour' contracts.

The 47-year-old said she will be supported by Class War colleagues and group Disabled People Against Cuts (DPAC) at the jobs fair, which is due to feature John Lewis, McDonald's, British Gas, Barts Health NHS Trust, Walthamstow's new Empire Cinema and the Ministry of Justice.

Mr Duncan Smith will launch the event at the Assembly Hall in Station Road on November 14.

She said: "This is an opportunity for all to express how they feel.

"This will be the launch of my parliamentary campaign - a proper opening gambit of knocking Iain Duncan Smith of his incumbent perch.

"We will be coming into the Assembly Hall and hoping to talk to employers about paying the living wage and abolishing zero-hour contracts.

"I anticipate he might go screaming from the building."

"I have a long history, taking non-violent direct action."

Waltham Forest Police have said they will implement plans accordingly but refused to release any details.
