A charity has organised a human chain in a high street to raise awareness of human trafficking.
Christian Revival Church London will hold the anti-human trafficking event, called Chain for Change, next Saturday between 9am and 2pm in High Street, Wanstead.
Victoria Wasteney, from CRC, said: “Our goal is to make an impact as we stand in unity against this atrocity - we want to engage our communities in raising awareness and funds to assist rescuing many of those who are trapped in slavery.
“Chain for Change is a fun and bold way to make a big statement about a devastating atrocity in our world today.
“We want to connect with the public to provide them with information about the issue and ways they can help.”
