Young singers showcased their talent at a sold-out event.
Organised by singing teacher Catherine Sheehy, the concert was held at the Corbett Theatre in Loughton.
Private singers and students from E15 Acting Schools in Loughton, aged between five and 18, performed songs from musicals such as The Lion King and Les Miserables, as well as pop tunes by Beyonce and Adele.
Despite some of the young pupils having never performed on stage, the event was a huge success, according to Ms Sheehy.
“I personally couldn’t have asked for better”, she said.
“We performed to a sold out audience and texts were sent to me at the interval with fabulous reviews!
“I was in the wings, on standby if anyone needed prompting or a helping hand, but every singer managed to deliver a fantastic performance without any nerves showing.”
