One man was fined and another was given a conditional discharge for possessing cannabis in a McDonald's car park.
Elias Arogundade, 25, of Wingfield Road, Stratford, and Saffron Richardson, 23, of Trevelyan Road, Stratford, were caught with a quantity of cannabis by police on October 13 in McDonald’s car park, in High Street, Leytonstone.
Appearing at Thames Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday, Mr Arogundade was fined £265, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £27 and costs of £85.
Mr Richardson was not fined but was instead given a conditional discharge for 12 months, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85.
