A secondary school is set to place crosses in memory of four servicemen this week.
Epping St Johns in Bury Road, Epping, will dedicate the wooden crosses to the Garden of Remembrance behind St Johns Church in High Street, Epping, on Friday.
Pupils will commemorate, Victor Adams, Horace Barker, Walter Wright and Georgie Sparks, the four servicemen that their school houses are named after.
The event will be attended by Epping Forest District Council Chairman Tony Boyce, Epping Town Mayor Barbara Scruton and members of the Royal British Legion.
The service will take place in the Garden of Remembrance at 10.45am before continuing on to a service at the Commonwealth War Graves in Epping cemetery from 11.30am.
