This year's Christmas window competition has been launched.
Chigwell Parish Council has this week launched its 'Best Dressed Christmas Window for local businesses' competition which will automatically enter any shop in Chigwell that dresses its window up for the festive season.
Judges will be looking for creative shop fronts which demonstrate Christmas spirit and have the 'wow' factor for residents in the town.
A trophy and certificates will be awarded to the winner to place on display for a year.
A spokeswoman for Chigwell Parish Council said: "It would be wonderful if all local businesses entered into the spirit of the season, so get on your thinking caps and really wow residents and those just passing through the area with your inspirational ideas."
