Police in Waltham Forest have released CCTV of a thief who targeted a pet store.
Suspect 162229 is wanted after she stole a Biorb fish bowl stand worth £60 from Pets at Home in Cork Tree Way Retail, Chingford, on October 10.
She walked into the store at just after 10am and picked up the stand before approaching the sales team and claiming she had brought it back for a refund.
Staff realised she was lying and took hold of the item and attempted to detain her.
The thief then snatched the stand back and left the store.
She then got in a car with cloned number plates and drove off.
The CCTV has been passed to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.
