A photograph has been released of a woman who died on Halloween in a suspected murder-suicide.
Polish national Magdalena Anna Welna, 23, of Ilford, was found suffering from multiple stab wounds in Valentines Road, Ilford, last Friday.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene at around 5.30pm and took Mrs Welna to an East London hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Police were called to a man collapsed in nearby Auckland Road at around 7pm.
He was also taken to an East London hospital where he died shortly after arrival.
He has since been named as Victor Banjo Ogundunmade, 27, from Newham, and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
The death of Mrs Welna is being treated as murder.
Police believe that the man and woman were known to each other, and are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
