A date for the trial of a West Ham footballer accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend and mother has been set.
The 21-year-old Ravel Morrison faces two counts of common assault following an incident on July 24 at a bar in Manchester and later at a house.
Mr Morrison, of Urmston in Trafford, is accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend Reah Mansoor, 19, and her mother, Parveen Mansoor, 39, outside a bar in Manchester.
He is also accused of attacking her again and her mother hours later at a house in Alexandra Road in Salford.
The footballer, currently on loan at Cardiff City, had previously pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault by beating and one of assault causing actual bodily harm.
He will stand trial at Manchester Crown Court on January 26 on the three charges.
Mr Morrison was also accused of threatening to throw acid in the face of his ex-girlfriend, have her killed and blow up her house over a four year period, but yesterday the Crown Prosecution Service withdrew this allegation.
