Thieves made off with cash from a jar.
Thieves smashed a stained glass window when they broke into a church.
The incident happened between midday on October 17 and 7am on October 19 at All Saints Church in Betts Lane, Nazeing.
Once inside thieves stole cash from a jar.
Essex Police are asking anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area to contact PC Michael King at Loughton on 101 or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
