Residents are being urged to nominate their choices for this years Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year awards, as voting comes to a close.
Nominations can be submitted for anyone living in Epping Forest who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the community.
There is also a £100 award for a Young Citizen of the Year aged between 11 and 18.
The winners, as nominated by the public, will be invited to attend the civic awards ceremony in February next year.
Chairman of Council, Councillor Tony Boyce said: “The annual civic awards ceremony enables the council to thank publicly those special residents of our district who always ‘go the extra mile’ and often think of others before themselves.”
“Without them our district would be a much poorer place.
Votes must be made by November 21 for Citizen of the Year and November 28 for Young Citizen of the Year.
Nomination forms can be obtained from Epping Forest District Council in High Road, Epping.
