A junior school has raised £275 for Children in Need today.
Pupils at Braeside Junior School in Palmerston Road, Buckhurst Hill, raised the money, which will go towards helping to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people, by selling Pudsey wristbands.
Youngsters at the school created headdresses and puppets which were displayed in a Children in Need school assembly.
Senior Teacher at the Junior School Gretchen Copeman said: "It has been a very exciting morning and all of the children have loved supporting such a worthwhile charity.
“It is very exciting that we have managed to raise £275 for Children in Need, we are very pleased.”
