A junior school has been ranked as one of the top 100 in the country.
Chigwell Junior School in High Road, Chigwell, was this week ranked as the 22nd best prep school in the Sunday Times Top 100 Preparatory Schools Table for 2014.
The list is compiled using the SATs academic data in English and Maths from the previous three years’ assessments.
The position places the Junior School as a top-ranking school in the local area.
Head of Junior School Simon James said: “This is fantastic news and something which all the staff and pupils are rightfully proud of.
“It is just reward for all their hard work in and out of the classroom in making Chigwell Junior School such a special place to work and learn."
