A foodbank charity which provides meals for hundreds of Waltham Forest families is hoping to collect trolley loads of donations this Saturday.
Over the last year the number of people turning to Eat or Heat for meals has risen dramatically.
The charity is run by volunteers who donate, pack and hand out food.
This weekend they are holding a ‘super Saturday’ at Sainsbury’s in Walthamstow.
Volunteers will pitch up at the High Street store between 2pm and 5pm on November 22.
