A gang which used a house in Walthamstow to process large quantities of heroin and cocaine have been jailed.

The drugs ring imported about £40million pounds worth of Class A drugs from mainland Europe and distributed it across London, the south east and south coast.

During an undercover operation in September last year, Armando Oruci, 40, was seen leaving a house in Tenby Road, Walthamstow.

He handed a bag to his brother, Arben Oruci, 44, who was stopped by police and found to be in possession of two boxes containing heroin.

Police raided the address in Tenby Road, finding Armando Oruci in the hallway.

Sami Qerkini, 49, was in a small kitchen and was in the process of mixing quantities of heroin powder.

Approximately 8kg of the drug and £2,000 were seized.

Sami Qerkini, of Brook Avenue, Edgware, was sentenced to 22 years for conspiracy to supply Heroin

Arben Oruci, of Challice Way in Lambeth, was sentenced to three years and Armando Oruci, of Birkbeck Road, Tottenham, sentenced to 12 years for the same offence.
