Police have released CCTV footage of the moment a burglar steals door panels from a tower block.
Suspect 163277 is wanted in connection with burglary at the ten-storey Slade Tower in Leyton Grange Estate on October 15 at around 10am.
He manages to gain access by following or 'tailgating' a resident into the block. Once inside, he starts to remove panels from the sound craft exit and entrance doors using a screwdriver.
The video shows him using the tool to unscrew the panels. He takes one and then leaves.
The CCTV has been passed to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.
