An Olympic gold medalist spoke of his experience of winning in a school visit today.
Tim Baillie spoke to sixth form this afternoon at Forest School, in College Place, Snaresbrook.
At the 2012 London Olympic Games, he and his partner Etienne Stott won the Gold medal in the C-2 event in front of 12,000 spectators at the Lee Valley White Water Centre.
Baillie spoke to sixth form pupils about his career as a slalom canoeist representing Great Britain and his life in the run up to the London Olympic Games, including his regimented training programme.
He even played the video of his Gold medal winning moment, which brought about applause from the audience.
Year 13 pupil Helena Stone, is a talented canoeist herself, recently being awarded the prize for the most promising competitor at the London Youth Games.
