Staff and members of Ongar Leisure Centre have raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
More than 60 women participated in an 'Aerobathon' led by aerobics instructor Nicky Palmer at the Everyone Active operated centre last week.
Participants helped to raise £900 which will be donated to NHS Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow to fund breast cancer clinical trials.
Event Organiser Natalie Knife said: "We are really pleased with the amount raised and would like to thank everyone who turned up on the day and helped make it such a success.
"We’re still receiving donations and are hoping to raise a grand total of over £1000 in the coming weeks.
“It was a lot of fun and there was a real party atmosphere."
