Two men arrested following a stabbing in Epping have been released without charge.
The 25-year-old man from Stamford Hill in north London and 20-year-old man from Hackney were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in September.
The arrests came after a 31-year-old from London was stabbed in the chest in High Road, Epping, at just after 4am on September 6.
He remained in critical condition for seven days after undergoing surgery at the Royal London Hospital.
The men were released after reporting back to police on Friday.
Investigations are ongoing.
