An education and employment charity has celebrated 30 years of help migrant communities to settle in the UK.

East London Advanced Technology Training ELATT aims to tackle social and economic inequality by working with people to gain the relevant skills for long-term employment.

For 30 years the charity has been helping people in east London to fight isolation and learn new skills.

Former students attended an event this month to share their success stories.

ELATT’s Chief Executive, Anthony Harmer, said: “It was lovely to celebrate ELATT’s achievements with all of those who have played an integral role in the charity’s success.

“We look forward to continuing to help individuals to reach their goals and ambitions for many more years to come.”
