A national demonstration of floral art was staged yesterday.
The Waltham Abbey Floral Art Society welcomed Susan Phillips, from the National Association of Flowers Arrangers, who demonstrated some of her favourite creations.
The work was then raffled, followed by a tombola and a buffet at the Waltham Abbey Town Hall in Highbridge Street.
The society's next meeting is on February 24 in the Royal British Legion in Brooker Road at 7.15pm.
It will feature a demonstration by Sandra Ward.
The club host demonstrations, workshops, social evenings and an annual outing.
The event will be £5 for visitors, and all are welcome.
