A Jewish Menorah is set to return to a town after being introduced for the first time last year.
Loughton Synagogue and Chabad, an educational organisation, arranged for the symbol of Judaism to be added to Loughton High Road in 2013.
The lamp, which stands for peace and freedom for Jewish people, is set to be lit in a lighting ceremony to celebrate the eight-day festival of Chanukah next month.
The Menorah will be erected on Standard Green in Loughton for the duration of the Chanukah festival period.
On December 22 at 6.30pm the public are invited to the lighting ceremony.
