A choir is appealing for the next Jonny Cash or Barry White to step forward and join their ranks.

The Three Valleys Male Voice Choir, based in Waltham Abbey Baptist Church, have a 'busy schedule throughout December and are appealing for additional members, particularly for the bass section.

Since their inception in 1994, the 30 member choir have performed over 400 concerts helping to raise money for local and national charities.

Choir member David Thwaites invited potential members to contact the club.

He said: “If you are a budding Johnny Cash or even a Barry White sound alike, or simply enjoy singing in the shower or in the bath, why not come along to see what we have to offer and join in."
