Holly McGlinchey is currently fundraising for her three-month charity trip to Nicaragua improving local safe water and sanitation supplies.
The 20-year-old, of Chestnut Drive, Wanstead, needs to raise £800 by February and she will work with a team of volunteers for Raleigh international, part of the International Citizen Service.
She is speaking out about how young people should take the opportunity to travel and raise money for charity.
