A person had to be cut from a vehicle after a crash this morning.
The collision happened in Upshire Road, Waltham Abbey, at 6am, between a blue Citroen C2 and a cream Mini Cooper.
The driver of the Citroen, believed to be in their mid 20s, had to be cut out of their vehicle by the fire service.
They were taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow with 'non life threatening', injuries according to the Ambulance Service.
The road was closed as police carried out investigations but no arrests have been made.
