A teenager has been awarded for his "hard work and commitment" at a sixth form.
Arjun Chopra, a year 13 student at West Hatch School in High Road, Chigwell, was presented with the Haslers Outstanding Business Student Award 2014, during a prize-giving ceremony at the school, this week.
The teenager was selected for the the award, which is sponsored by Loughton chartered accountants Haslers, for making the most progress and achieving the school’s highest Business Studies A-Level grade in 2013.
Paul Reynolds, a tax partner at Haslers Chartered Accountants, presented Arjun with a trophy, prize and an Amazon Kindle Fire HD during the awards evening.
He said: "It is a great honour to be presenting this award to such a deserving and talented student.
"He has demonstrated that through hard work and commitment anything can be achieved and he should feel proud to be recognised in this way.
“I would like to congratulate Arjun on receiving this award and wish him well in his future studies and career path."
