Elderly residents living at a retirement home helped raise thousands of pounds for charity.
Macmillan Cancer Support have been presented with a cheque for over £21,000 from Churchill Retirement Living following its successful World's Biggest Coffee Morning event in September.
Residents living at Churchill's King Henry Lodge in Hall Lane, Chingford, came together to brew, bake, drink, eat and raffle their way past the £20,000 target.
Chairman of Churchill Retirement Living, Spencer McCarthy, met with Katie Blake from Macmillan Cancer Support to present the cheque for £21,749 last week.
