A reception class has rehearsed and performed a Christmas musical based on a modern tale of Jesus and Bethlehem.
Parents and carers watched in awe their children perform The Bossy King at Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School in Chestnut Drive, Wanstead, on December 11.
The nativity story written Niki Davies involves a bossy king who hears about a new king - baby Jesus being born in Bethlehem and sets out to find him.
When he eventually meets Jesus, the Bossy King decides to change his ways.
