A hairdressing salon has celebrated its 20th anniversary this week.
The staff at Hairlines in Walthamstow have been styling women’s hair at their shop in Forest Road for two decades.
Owned by a brother and sister team it is a thriving family business.
Owner Sharon Golledge, 45, has been a hairdresser since she was 16.
She said the secret to success is looking after the people who keep you in business.
“It has changed a lot but we have focused on moving with the times and the new trends,” she added.
“Business is good. We have a really good team here. All of the girls are so good, I can’t express enough how much of a team effort it is.
“It’s all down to looking after the customers, the new ones and the old ones. We couldn’t do it without them.”
The shop celebrated on Saturday with a buffet and games for customers who could win free treatments.
