A CCTV image of pub pickpocket has been released by police in Waltham Forest.
The man is wanted in connection with theft after a 65-year-old customer had his bank cards stolen during a visit to The Dovecote in Friday Hill, Chingford.
The incident happened at around lunchtime on November 17, but police have only now released details.
The thief struck when the victim left his jacket hanging on the back of a chair.
He removed several bank cards from the wallet and replaced it in the jacket.
He then left the pub, formerly known as The Sirloin, and withdrew cash.
The CCTV has been passed to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.
