A man accused of stabbing a mother to death has pleaded not guilty.
Leighann Duffy, 26, was attacked in front of her six-year-old daughter at their home in Haverley Road, Walthamstow, on September 1 and died two days later.
Lloyd Byfield, 48, of no fixed address, pleaded not guilty to murder when he appeared by video link at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.
His trial is scheduled to start on March 16.
