Two fire crews called to Walthamstow blaze
A woman was rescued from a fire which gutted a home.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at a property in Spruce Hills Road, Walthamstow, at 8pm.
The fire destroyed the first floor of the semi-detached property and a woman was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service suffering from smoke inhalation.
Ten firefighters from Walthamstow and Woodford took one hour to put out the fire on Friday.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
