A major road has been closed after a lorry jackknifed and spilled diesel in an accident police described as "driver error".
Emergency services were called to the the North Circular at 10.40am this morning.
The northbound section of the road is currently closed while the accident, near the Redbridge Roundabout in Wanstead, is cleared.
There is currently congestion back to Barking.
Police said they believed "driver error" caused the crash and no other vehicles were involved.
The driver was not hurt in the incident.
