A man and woman escaped a house fire early this morning.
Around 20 firefighters tackled the blaze at 7am today in a terraced house in High Road, Leytonstone.
The fire was under control by 10.15am and caused damage to part of the property’s ground and first floor.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
