Police are appealing for help from the public to find an 82-year-old man missing from a hospital.
Phillip Hackney, of Chigwell Park Drive, Chigwell, was last seen yesterday at about 3.30pm while accompanying a relative on a visit to Whipps Cross Hospital, Leytonstone.
He went missing while the relative was attending an appointment and may have tried to make his own way home.
Officers from Essex and the Met Police are continuing to search routes from Leytonstone to Chigwell.
Drivers using roads in the area today are urged to look out for Mr Hackney and to report any sightings of him.
He is 5ft 8in tall, of average build and has short grey hair. He is wearing a brown jacket and dark brown trousers.
Anyone who has seen him should call Essex Police on 101.
