A teenager is set to face trial today accused of sexual assault and carrying a samurai sword in a public place.
The 13-year-old from Epping is accused of attacking a 53-year-old woman in her Epping home on June 26 last year.
He is also accused of carrying a samurai sword in High Road, Epping and possessing a kitchen knife on the premises of Epping St John's Church in Bury Road, Epping on June 11.
He pleaded not guilty to all three charges in court on August 29.
The teenager, who was remanded on conditional bail, will appear in Chelmsford Youth Court today to begin a two-day trial.
