Suspect 167820 known to police as prolific shoplifter

CCTV has been released by police of a thief who regularly targets a supermarket.
The man pictured is wanted after being filmed putting several cans of Stella Artois lager in his pockets and walking out of Sainsbury's in Church Lane, Leytonstone, on Boxing Day.
Police have said the suspect is "well known to staff for shoplifting".
The CCTV has been passed to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Met to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.
