Bell ringers will perform at a church to help raise funds for its maintenance.
Loughton Handbell Ringers, nine performers ringing 102 bells, will play at 7.30pm next Wednesday at the United Reformed Church, in Nightingale Lane, Wanstead.
Tickets costing £5, including refreshments, are available from Bennetts Newsagents in the High Street and on the door.
Reverend Jim Gascoigne said: “Most of us are pleased when churches are well-maintained and available to us.
“Few of us realise that running costs amount to several hundred pounds each week and maintaining activities about as much again.
“We are very grateful that such skilled performers are giving this concert on behalf of the United Reformed Church.
“We hope to have a full house, confident that it will be thoroughly enjoyable.”
